Luc Goethals
Luc Goethals is an honorary teacher at the Stedelijk Conservatorium Brugge, where he taught AMV (general musical education) and Choir, and also held the positions of Pedagogical Coordinator, ICT Coordinator, and Mentor.
In addition to his pedagogical activities, he distinguished himself as a composer with commissions for the "MacWorld Expo" in Rotterdam, the "Macintosh Conventions," Flanders Technology 1989 (FTI-Tune), Jaycies 1989, and for Jeugd en Muziek Vlaanderen (Youth and Music Flanders).
He served as the producer of two successful youth musicals: "Hou me stevig vast" (Hold Me Tight) and "Gevangen" (Captured), for which he also composed the music. Apart from numerous TV and radio appearances, he contributed to the realization of several CD recordings.
Since 1985, he played a significant pioneering role in the Flemish classical music scene, promoting the use of music software and electronic instruments. This influence extended to both professional musicians and the part-time art education sector (DKO).
