Lars Corijn graduated as a classical singer at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp in the studio of bass Gary Jankowski. He works as a freelance singer for renowned houses like Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, La Monnaie / De Munt and the Flemish Radio Choir. As a soloist he will make his appearence in productions from SPECTRA Ensemble and DESCHONECOMPANIE.
As a conductor Lars was taught by Luc Anthonis, Koen Kessels, Steven Verhaert, Jan Van der Roost and Dirk De Caluwe. He works as chief-conductor for the Symphonic Windband of the
Antwerp Universities, Pop Choir Kantamiko and OBVoiced, the staff choir of Opera Ballet Vlaanderen. On his broad resumé are i.a. Beethovens pianoconcertos, the Wesendoncklieder from Wagner and Händels Dixit Dominus.
Besides the classical orchestral repertoire, Lars has a predilection for the symphonic windband repertoire. Soon, Lars makes his debut as assistant-conductor at Opera Ballet Vlaanderen.
