Pieter Vincken
Pieter Vincken (born in 2000) is a musician and educator with a passion for percussion and music education. Currently, he primarily works as a percussion and group music teacher at the Academy for Music, Drama & Dance in Maasmechelen & Kunstkoepel Lanaken.
Pieter obtained his Bachelor's degree in Music from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp between 2018 and 2021, studying under renowned instructors such as Carlo Willems and Koen Wilmaers. Subsequently, he completed his Master's degree in Education and Performing Arts at the same institution between 2021 and 2024, receiving instruction from Carlo Willems, Koen Wilmaers, and Pieterjan Vranckx.
As an experienced musician, Pieter has gained extensive orchestral experience, performing in both symphonic and wind ensemble settings. He has served as a substitute percussionist with renowned ensembles such as the National Orchestra of Belgium, LaMonnaie/DeMunt, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège, and Nootstroom Orkest (Friesland).
