Nederlands Tars Lootens
Tars Lootens is one of the most all-round musicians within Belgium and abroad, with an impressive list of records, both as a pianist as well as a composer.
Although “Jazz” is his main passion, he also earned his way through pop- and rock music. In the year 2000, he composed the compelling melodies for “Astrid, the Musical”.
He coloured the radio-, television- and moviescene. A lot of the contemporary performers, such as Toots Thielemans, Philip Cathérine, Walter Boeykens, Salvatore Adamo, Francis Goya and Maurice Jarre, relied on his talents.
