Willem Coghe

Willem Coghe (°1960) studied at the University College Ghent, Faculty of Music and won first prizes Solfeggio, Percussion and Chamber Music. He also obtained a pedagogical certificate.

In 1979 he was laureate of the ‘Nationale Muziekwedstrijd van het Gemeentekrediet’.

Nowadays Willem Coghe teaches percussion, ensemble and chamber music at the ‘Peter Benoit’ Academy in Harelbeke and the ‘Adriaen Willaert Academy in Roeselare.

Willem Coghe is a member of the National Commission Percussion of ‘Muziekverbond van België’, today known as VLAMO
