Nederlands Georges Moreau
Georges Moreau (°1968) is a Belgian conductor, producer and arranger.
He studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels and Antwerp and at the LUCA School of Arts, campus Lemmens in Leuven. He obtained final degrees for tuba, music theory (harmony and counterpoint), music history, chambre music and conducting.
Georges Moreau performed in most of the European countries and in the USA. Presently he teaches ensemble, music theory and arranging at the Conservatorium in Hasselt and at the Academy of Tongeren. He also works as a recording director and takes part in multiple juries across Europe.
Since 2018, there is a close collaboration between Georges Moreau and Golden River Music. He launched and supervises the serie ‘Classical Wind Editions’ and the related ‘Students Series’. With ‘Classical Wind Editions’ Golden River Music releases on an annual basis several classical, high quality arrangements, arranged by Georges Moreau for wind ensembles.
