Nederlands Bart Snauwaert
Bart Snauwaert studied the bassoon with Iwein D'Haese at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels and obtained first prizes of harmony and fugue with Rafaël D'haene.
Since 1996 he has been Director of the Municipal Academy of Music and Word Tielt. He is also a member of playing woodwind quintet Quintessens, and active as a freelance-(counter) bassoonist.
Bart Snauwaert is also conductor of the Orchestra & Choir ‘Zanglust’. In this role, he is regularly assisted by Hannes Vanlancker, who is also a horn player in the orchestra.
