Steef Coorevits

Steef was born in 1961. He was one of the first male nursery teachers who studied at the Arteveldehogeschool in Ghent. Music has always been one of his trump cards.
He gained a lot of experience by teaching in classes as a nursery teacher for many years. Besides his job, he worked together with primary schools on musical projects.
Between 2002 and 2005 he gave extra trainings in the Eekhout center.
Since 2005 he's a public lecturer musical education at KATHO PHO TIELT (teacher training).
He's co-author/composer of the songbooks 'Piep Kadul', 'Boink Kadul' and 'De Liedbanaan', published by Golden River Music.
He created all the songs for the series 'Confetti' and the language series 'Iene Miene Mutte' (for little children).
In addition to his job as lecturer, Steef is also a musician/narrator with Klaboem VZW (www.klaboem.be). They make theater and music for schools, workshops musical education, extra trainings...
Together with Yves Bondue and Carlos Decoene he started "Trimuztache". They make theater focused on environmental care.
Steef also accompanies events, solo with accordion and guitar or together with "Zonder bandjes", a band consisting of five members ( www.zonderbandjes.com).
