Strongly influenced by composers such as Jan van der Roost, Jacob de Haan, Johan de Meij and Otto M. Schwarz, Frédéric Quinet initially composed this piece for the young wind band of Harmonie de Pin - Emagny in France. Incorporating elements of pop-rock, the piece weaves a narrative of life within an associative harmony. The composition's foundation rests upon the exquisite interplay of chords and themes, brought to life by the enchanting use of lower appoggiatura. Divided into two distinct movements, the piece transcends emotions and experiences.
