He built a musical career in various French Military Music Corps as a First Horn player: first in the Music Chapel of the 43° Infantry Regiment of Lille in 1980 for the National Service, then from 1981 to 1986 in the Main Chapel of the Marine Troops and from 1986 to 2003 with the Musique de la Région Aérienne Méditerranée. Since his retirement he has been composing more specifically for wind orchestras and has already written concertante pieces such as "Hornissimo" for horn and orchestra, a "Fantaisie espagnole" for horn quartet and orchestra and various works for brass ensembles ranging from quintets to large ensembles.
